wow so its been awhile.
this summer has been pretty busy though i guess.
i havent had a lot of time for xanga.
here is an update...
ive gone to the lake a few times, which is always a good time. my grandparents sold our lakehouse though, but the people that bought it aren't taking posession until after labor day, so we have the rest of the summer. and now my dad is looking to buy a house somewhere. so if you know of anything tell me.
im delivering pizzas ALL THE TIME, and making ridiculous amouts of money, so that is good.
i just got my wisdom teeth out and i am almost positive i have a dry socket. the pain is so bad i can only sleep for four hours at a time. i go to sleep and wake up for hours later when my hydrocodone wears off and i take another one, lay there in my bed for about twenty minutes in a state of pain i did not know existed and contemplating suicide waiting for it to kick in, and the pass out for another 4 hours, and repeat. and this is a week after my surgery. im seeing my oral surgeon tomorrow. thank god.
i move into ku in less than a month, and i am pumped. robert and i got into a studio at ellsworth so that will kick ass.
my mom and i just watched big fish and she is balling. she rocks. that movie is incredible though.
my cell phone broke in half and i had to get a new one and i lost all my numbers for like the eighth time. so if you guys read this you should give me your numbers.
lets see....ive played golf a couple times, gone to the driving range a couple times, gone shooting a couple times, gone to a couple royals games, and on the list of things to get done before i move out is strouds, salty iguana, worlds of fun, and spend more time with my girlfriend because i think i forgot what she looks like. if any of those things interest you you shouuld call me.
o and if you guys were wondering about the question i asked in my last post, WWI is overshadowed by WWII in just about every respect. Woodrow Wilson kept us out of WWI, but FDR kept us out of WWII for longer, we entered WWI because the German u-boats sunk the Lusitania which killed about 150 americans, and we entered WWII because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, and i dont even know how many americans were killed there, but i know it was a lot more than 150. WWII lasted longer than WWI, the U.S. lost more men in WWII, plus WWII encompassed a larger area, and involved more countries. not to mention the whole Holocaust thing.
but just for the record, im not trying to demean those who fought in WWI. they fought and died for just as good a cause as the soldiers who fought and died in WWII, and should have just as much respect.
but there you go. now if someone ever asks you that, you can tell them.
alright so that is my update. i probably wont do it again for awhile so enjoy it while it lasts. |
